Step 1) Open Nvidia Control Panel and go to "Adjust desktop size and position" which is under the Display category.Make sure you have Scaling mode to "Aspect ratio" and perform scaling on "GPU"
Step 2) Go to "Change Resolution" which is under the Display category and press the customize button.Make sure you check the button "Enable resolutions not exposed by the display" and hit "Create new resolution" |
Step 3) Now is the tricky part, depending on your monitor capabilities and the cables your are using different results occur. In the field "Horizontal pixels" and "Vertical lines" is were you put the resolution you want to use.You must always use the correct aspect ratio your monitor has when putting new resolutions, for example if your monitor is 1080p (1920x1080) then it has 16:9 aspect ratio, if it is 1200p (1920x1200) then it's 16:10 and so it goes on with other resolutions.
-Here's a link for many resolutions and aspect ratios Common resolutions for 16:9 are: -2560x1440 -2880x1620 -3200x1800 -3840x2160 |
