Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012) is the nineteenth title in the Need for Speed Series which has the same title as the 2005 game but developed by Criterion Games known from the Burnout series.
I am not a big fan of racing games and the last Need for speed i played was Pro street but i was surprised that i really like it even though it lucks some futures from the previous games mostly exterior tweaking (visible) It looks great visually and takes advantage of Downsampling since it lucks Antialiasing option so make sure to use it if your GPU can afford it.The first thing is the game look a little mud and it mostly needs some contrast adjustments So we will use SweetFX lightly to: -Slightly use HDR & Contrast adjustments -Slightly sharpen the textures to bring out extra details -Slightly increased bloom effect My SweetFX settings are: i) SMAA (SMAA Threshold=0.05, SMAA max search steps=98, SMAA max search steps diag=16) ii) Lumasharpen (sharp strength=0.72 , sharp clamp=0.095) iii) Bloom (Bloom Threshold=20.25 , BloomPower=1.280 , BloomWidth=0.0142) iv) Cineon DPX [Red=8, Green=8, Blue=8], ColorGamma=2.5, DPX Saturation=3.2, [RedC=0.36, GreenC=0.36, BlueC=0.36] , Blend=0.2) v) Curves (Curves contrast= 0.52, Curves formula=7) vi) Dither _________________________________________________________ Direct Link to my config |
